DETAILS:

We’ll be sharing our usual open-hearted, real, deep, playful connection in this beautiful wilderness retreat setting.

Come join us for:

  • Campfires, laughter, and stories
  • Community Satsang, exploring questions and sharing wisdom about the things that are most important to you. Choose from these topics and suggest your own:
    • Creating Choice Regardless of Circumstances: Managing Reactivity and Reclaiming Presence
    • Healthy Boundaries
    • Safety, Respect, Trust: What Do These Really Mean and How Can We Cultivate Them?
    • The Missing Operator’s Manual for Your Brain: What Upsets and What Calms Your Nervous System?
    • The Magical Powers Created When We Combine NVC, Interpersonal Neurobiology (Brain Science), and Attachment Theory
    • Ask for one or more of these, and/or request your own when you register, we’ll create it together!
  • Presence Practice – time enough throughout the weekend for everyone who’d enjoy it to receive the transformational support of compassionate, resonant empathic community
  • Compassionate Noticing – experience the astonishing resonance and healing power of this luminous mindfulness practice that deeply empowers your capacity for presence and choice during challenging moments (so you can practice NVC/stay in alignment with your values and commitments even when you’re upset)
  • Tai Chi for Thriving – takes tai chi basics (straight back; movement around the core; the energies ward off, rollback, press, & push; and slow and intentional movement) and flavors them with Thriving Life basics:  present moment awareness and aliveness, feeling into your own body, boundaries, understanding intention.  The result?  A blossoming felt-sense, lived experience of Thriving Life principles and values
  • Your full choice to participate in whatever moves you, at any time = practicing living from what’s most alive in you at any time. (Click here to download your free “Living From What’s Alive” Guide)
  • Steep yourself in delightful, authentic connection
  • Nourish your well-being with your Thriving Tribe in a natural paradise

WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?

This retreat is for anyone longing for more authentic connection with themselves, Life/Nature, or others, including anyone who’d love a welcoming place to practice living from what’s alive.

Please feel welcome to click on these links for some helpful background information about:

  • The Thriving Life approach to NVC
  • Presence Practice
  • Compassionate Noticing
  • Tai Chi for Thriving
  • Note: “Compassionate Noticing Conversation (CN-Conversation) is a delightfully social, conversational form of Compassionate Noticing. In CN-Conversation we DO interact with each other about what’s arising in each of us. It’s like a “present moment, noticing-what’s-arising, conversational Ping-Pong.”

Beginners are warmly welcomed!
